29th Jul 2003 AspMail 4.1 and AspQMail 2.3 have been updated to solve a problem introduced in the Feb 2003 release. The bug occurs when an email is created with multiple recipients. It is strongly suggested that all AspMail 4/AspQMail 2.x users update to this version. Download from the products page and install per the AspMail documentation.

17th Feb 2003 AspMail 4.1 released. See details below for changes. AspImage 2.31 beta available.  Download from the products page. A new property named Transparent has been added. See the updated documentation for information on Transparent and TransparentColor. The TextAlign property should now be available to environments like VB. Please report if you have any problems with these modifications.

22nd Jan 2003 AspMail 4.1 beta available. A few minor changes have been made to try and solve problems some customers have reported. A message-id header is now generated automatically. Apparently some spam filters delete messages that do not have message-ids. During login the component now uses a full Internet host name instead of just the server name. The DateTime example used in the documentation was updated to include a seconds value since some servers complain if the seconds value is not there. Superfluous formatting (invisible to most clients) in the recipient headers was removed. Download from the products page.

14th June 2001 the AspMail 4.0 example, multimail.asp has been updated. This example shows how to send a multipart message (text and html). The previous example would fail to encode the message properly if images or non-standard characters were added. The current version of multimail.asp allows inclusion of image file references (not inline images) which allows you to nicely format your html messages. Download the current eval zip file from the products page to get the updated example.

14th June 2001 - AspImage 2.30 released. Download from the products page. Most products ignore the vertical density or DPI value however there are a few that use, it so version 2.3 adds support for vertical DPI (it is always set to the horizontal value when setting the objects DPI property).

20th Dec. 2000 - AspImage. We've had a number of inquiries recently about how to use Adobe Type1 fonts from AspImage. Information on how to do this under Windows 2000 has been added to the online AspImage documentation.

4th Dec. 2000 - AspQMail 2.20 released. Download from the products page. This version fixes 2 bugs. The first bug caused some customers to have problems starting/stopping the service; the 2nd caused the service to fail if excessive SMTP server 503 errors were encountered. It is recommended that all AspQMail 2.x customers upgrade to this release.

26th Oct. 2000 AspImage 2.26 released. Download from the products page. This version adds support for TGA and PCX (beta support) file formats. Support for transparent PNGs is also added in this version.

21st Oct. 2000 - AspImage 2.25 released. Download from the products page. This version adds the following new methods: Mosaic, FishEye, Twist, Saturation, CreateGrayScale, LoadTexture, and ClearTexture. This version fixes the speed problem with ResizeR. It is significantly faster now. Fixes a different bug in ResizeR which appeared only on servers that are running low resolution video. Fixes quirky behavior of the FontName property. A bug in the GIF functionality was fixed that could cause an error when trying to save transparent GIFs. Fixes a problem where the TextAngle property was not always respected. Added the PixelFormat (4 bit/8 bit/24 bit) and TextAlign (left, right, center) properties.  This version also retains the DPI value for JPGs and BMPs loaded using LoadImage and LoadBlob. Improved the file overwrite routine to prevent some systems from denying writes to image files still opened by IIS. CreateGrayScale was added and the existing CreateBlackWhite now converts the image to a true monochrome. The example scripts have been updated.

4th Aug. 2000 - AspDNS 2.7.5 released. Download from the products page. This fixes a problem when using it from the command-line via a scripting host.

31st July 2000 - AspQMail 2.05 is shipping. Version 2.05 adds support for time delayed messages on top of the optimizations added to AspQMail 2.0. Upgrade information for 1.x customers will be posted to the products page as soon as the upgrade system is ready. Minor bug fixes have been made to AspMail 3.5 and 4.0. Download from the products page.

27th Mar. 2000 - AspImage 2.07 (beta) is available for download from the products page. This beta adds support for WBMP (WAP). See ImageFormat for the value to set to save WBMP files. The .Image property for BinaryWrite does not support WBMP yet but we'll add that shortly. 

24th Mar. 2000 AspQMail 1.5.4  (release) and AspQMail 2.01 (beta 3) have been updated. Two bugs were fixed in the queue scheduler routine. This is a recommended upgrade for any AspQMail users. Download from the products page. 

16th Feb. 2000 - QMWDog updated. The AspQMail watchdog service has been updated to fix a bug with restarting the service. Download the updated utility from the products page.

12th Feb. 2000 - AspHTTP 3.52 released. If you have had problems with Proxies, version 3.52 should solve them. We've tested this release against multiple proxies and found no additional problems. A MaxRedirects property was added in 3.51 to handle Web URLs that endlessly redirect to themselves.

26th Jan. 2000 - AspImage 2.0 beta 5  is now available for download from the products page. AddFont method was added.

10th Jan. 2000 - TShoot 1.1, our troubleshooting utility, has been updated. You can download it from here. It now includes a new system configuration summary screen with dll version information for IIS, ASP and scripting DLLs.

5th Jan. 2000 - AspHTTP 3.5, AspSock 1.5, AspDNS 2.7, AspMX 1.5, AspPOP3 2.5, AspConv 1.5, AspFile 1.5, AspNNTP 1.5, and AspSortie 1.5, released. Customers can download the latest versions from the products page. These releases are designed to fix reports of MTS problems that a few customers were having. 3rd Jan. 2000 - AspMail 3.05 and AspQMail 1.52 released. AspMail 3.04 / AspQMail 1.51 contained a bug that causes the SendMail method to return a false value. This update fixes this bug in both products.

28th Sep. 1999 - ServerObjects Inc. has no authorized resellers besides RegNet. If you are purchasing ServerObjects Inc. licenses from any other company you are probably doing business with a company that is pocketing your money. 

17th Sep. 1999 - AspHTTP 3.02 released. This version upgrade will allow HTTP request to follow non-explicit redirects (redirects to pages that don't include the server name such as /a-page/local/a-page.asp). Customers should refer to the documentation for details on how to upgrade their copy.

6th Sep. 1999 - ImageSize 1.1 released.

1st Sep. 1999 - AspImage 1.9 released. This version fixes a problem some customers reported in relation to transparent GIF files. Some GIF files would not save when using transparencies or the image would save but the transparent color was ignored. This version fixes these two issues. Customers should refer to the documentation for details on how to upgrade their copy.

31st Aug. 1999 - AspNNTP 1.5 released. AspPOP3 2.40 released. Both products are updated to solve a bug that occurred when decoding attachments. AspDNS 2.5 released. This version fixes a problem that some customers reported with stability of the product under IIS 4.0. Customers should refer to the documentation for details on how to upgrade their copy.

30th Aug. 1999 - AspSock 1.44 released. A new property called LogFile has been added to help AspSock users debug their code. AspHTTP 3.01 released. Fixes a bug with the Error property where no error value was available in some circumstances. AspChart 2.2 released. This version fixes a bug that occurred when two concurrent Web users accessed a chart object.

18th Aug. 1999 - AspChart 2.1 released. This version adds support for GIF/RLE (non-LZW) encoding. AspImage 1.87 released. This version fixes a bug with the DoMerge command which prevented JPGs from merging. Customers should refer to the documentation for details on how to upgrade their copy.

6th Aug 1999 - AspMX 1.3 released. This version adds a very commonly requested feature: VerifyAddress which attempts to verify the validity of an E-Mail address.  Customers should refer to the documentation for details on how to upgrade their copy. This function does an MX (mail) record lookup for a given E-Mail address. Then the component attempts to connect to the mail server that supports incoming mail for the specified address and verifies whether the mail server will accept mail for the address.

5th Aug 1999 - AspBible 1.1 released. This version fixes a bug which caused problems in displaying longer chapters, such as Psalm 119. Additional debug info is provided in the Error property if a failure occurs in opening the Bible files. 

30th July 1999 - AspQMail 1.5 released. This version fixes a problem some customers reported with access violations. Customers should refer to the documentation for details on how to upgrade their copy.

21st July 1999 - AspImage 1.86 released. This version adds the DoMerge method. See the documentation for details on usage.

5th May 1999 - AspCodeLock has been off the market for some time now. We get requests just about every day for information about the product. The product was co-developed with a developer and associate located in Israel. Two technical problems arose with the product in early '99 and we decided to pull the product. Please do not inquire about the product.

7th Apr. 1999 - AspImage 1.8 has been released. Animated GIF support is included in this version. New features include: AngleArc, BrushColor, BeginPath, FillPath, EndPath, StrokeAndFillPath, PolyBezier, Polygon, Polyline, SetPixel, StartAnimation, AddImageToAnimation, AddAnimationControl, SaveAnimation. 10th Mar. 1999 - AspImage 1.7.3 has been released. Bugs fixed include 1) a bug with the LoadImage function which was case sensitive on BMP and JPG file names. 2) A problem with AutoSize which would automatically activate if PadSize = 0 and a script tries to write to X or Y of 0. The value of AutoSize is now respected. 3) TextWidth was not parsing a line for Cr/Lfs but was returning the full string length. TextWidth now only returns the maximum width of the string. 4) PNG support under IIS 4.0 is fixed. AspChart 1.54 has been released. PNG support under IIS 4.0 is fixed.

2nd Feb. 1999 - AspPOP3 2.3.2 has been released. This fixes a problem some users reported about the MessageCount property.

8th Jan. 1999 - AspImage now supports GIF (RLE encoding only; file saves only). See the AspImage documentation for details.

6th Dec. 1998 - AspFile 1.2 has been released. This fixes a bug in the RenameFile method.

14th Aug. 1998 - AspCodeLock now has beta support for JScript. If you own AspCodeLock you can download the current version and test the JScript support. We do not support language switching in a single ASP file or associated include files. To use JScript you must add <%@ Language=JScript %> to the top of your ASP file.

12th Aug. 1998 - Minor updates to AspImage and AspChart were released today. AspImage AddImage & AddImageTransparent were updated. AspChart now has a new property named ShowMinorTicks. See the docs for usage.

7th Aug. 1998 - AspCodeLock updated to 1.02. Licensed owners can download the update from the same URL they received when they purchased the product. This version fixes a problem some customers reported with client-side JScript code.

7th Apr. 1998 - TShoot, our troubleshooting utility was updated today. We have added some very useful features. You can now attempt to create objects under different user accounts. This should substantially aid users in debugging object creation problems under the anonymous IIS user account. This version also will add security rights for the component registry keys, component DLL file and the temp path without the need for File Manager and regedt32. We also added a Win32 Error lookup dialog. This dialog allows you to enter an error code and get back OS provided descriptive messages explaining what the numeric error code means. This version supports standard Win32 API errors, COM, WinSock and WinInet errors. See our tech support page for a download. A number of users have solved their configuration problems using TShoot.

7th Apr. 1998 - AspExec 2.1 released. If you've had a problem getting visible apps to display under IIS, give this version a try. Visible apps are now visible again on our test systems. Be sure you've got the "allow service to interact with desktop" turned on under Control Panel/Services/W3SVC properties if you are executing visible apps.

4th Apr. 1998 - Released a beta version of our troubleshooting utility, TShoot, to help customers determine the cause of some installation or configuration problems.

4th Apr. 1998 - All products have been rebuilt to deal with a multi-processor problem that occurred under load situations. If you are having problems on a multi-processor system this update is for you. We have successfully tested these builds under single and multi-processor scenarios with heavy loads.
