The president of ServerObjects Inc., Stephen Genusa, was one of a small group of IIS 1.0 beta users and he knew the product was headed for success. With this in mind, Stephen began developing tutorials, writing samples for IIS' ISAPI interface, collating FAQs and looking for ways to help other IIS developers avoid the pitfalls that early technology adopters usually find. In 1996, Stephen became the leading industry authority on ISAPI and authored a 550 page book entitled Using ISAPI by Que Publications.

Stephen was the creator of The ISAPI Developer's Site, The ASP Developer's Site (now closed) and the Frequently Asked Questions for IIS, ISAPI and ASP (now closed). Stephen also released a number of very popular Internet development utilities and ASP components that are widely used. These Web sites, components, and utilities have earned mention in many of the industries most prestigious magazines including PC Magazine, WindowsNT Magazine and Microsoft Interactive Developer.

ServerObjects Inc. products have been mentioned in, or bundled with most of the best-selling ASP development books including Professional Active Server Pages by Wrox Press and Unlocking Active Server Pages by New Rider Publishing.
